Behind the Scenes of the Pergola Installation at District Five

For the District Five project in Birzebbuga, Malta, our team embarked on a challenging yet rewarding journey to enhance the outdoor experience at this beautiful location. This project, completed in 2019, was a testament to our commitment to excellence and efficiency in delivering high-quality installations.
Over the course of six weeks, we demonstrated our expertise in manufacturing, transportation, and installation, covering a total area of 550 square meters. The process involved meticulously anchoring 31 steel columns and securely fixing 27 steel cross beams. These structural elements formed the backbone of the installation, ensuring both durability and aesthetic appeal.
A key feature of this project was the installation of 17 retractable roofs and 10 vertical shades. These components were not just functional elements; they were carefully designed to enhance the beauty and utility of the space. The retractable roofs provided flexibility, allowing guests to choose between basking in the sun or relaxing in the shade. The vertical shades offered additional protection and privacy, creating a serene and comfortable environment for those enjoying the pool area.
The result was a sophisticated and elegant pergola system that transformed the outdoor space at District Five. It provided guests with a versatile area where they could enjoy the stunning Maltese climate in comfort and style. Our team’s dedication and skill were evident in every aspect of the installation, from the precision of the structural work to the seamless operation of the retractable elements.
The District Five project stands as a proud example of our ability to meet complex challenges with innovative solutions. It reflects our passion for creating spaces that not only serve a functional purpose but also enhance the overall aesthetic and experience of an environment. This installation, with our team in action, showcases our commitment to delivering exceptional results, no matter the scale or scope of the project.
